Being devout today may be harder...

“Be patient and bear the hardship of life conditions and abstain from being with those whose concern is worldly pleasures for your religion cannot be perfected except by doing so.”

Al-Waqi’ah (56:12–14):

‎فِي جَنَّاتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ (١٢) ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (١٣) وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (١٤)

[They will be] in gardens of pleasure,
A [large] company of the former peoples,
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 of the later peoples.

It reminds us: being devout today may be harder, but it’s also more 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲 — and that rarity carries weight. May we strive to be in the ranks of the As-Sābiqūn (The Forerunners)
